I would like to prepay for 10 hours of tutoring, do I need to book all 10 hours now?

No, you do not need to book the lessons straight away . You are welcome to prepay for 10 hours and then use these hours up whenever it is convenient for you. I will keep a record of your remaining prepaid hours which will always correspond to lessons found in your ‘Appointment History’ on your My Bookings page.

Do you offer any booking discounts?

Yes. If you would like to prepay for 10 hours of tuition then you will receive a 10% discount. This payment of £495 must be made before any of the 10 hours commence.

In other words, “Prepay for 9 hours and get 1 hour free!”

Do you offer any face-to-face tuition?

I’m afraid not. All of the tuition I offer is online. Online tutoring is fantastically effective for teaching Maths and continues to deliver excellent results for students. Here’s what one parent and student have said to about online tuition:

How do I create a Ziteboard account?

It is free to setup a Ziteboard Account. Please visit my Online page where I have provided instructions how to setup an account.

  1. Head to app.ziteboard.com
  2. Click the button in the top left-hand corner
  3. Click on “Login or Signup”
  4. Now enter your preferred email address and password and click “SIGNUP”
  5. This will send an email to your account. Please click on the link in the email to validate your account

How do I get a pyeMaths account to book lessons?

To get a pyeMaths username and password. Please email Jonny asking for an account. Your account is used to request lessons, manage bookings and view your appointment history.

How does online tutoring work?

Online tutoring is very simple with only two components.

  1. Skype video. We can communicate using webcam and microphone.
  2. Ziteboard (whiteboard). Each lesson I host a private online whiteboard. In which both the student and myself can contribute to.

How do I book a lesson?

  1. Please email Jonny explaining that you’d like to book a lesson. I will then setup an account for you.
  2. Login to your account and head to the online calendar.
  3. Choose a time slot and request.
  4. Wait for Jonny to ‘accept’ the request. Once accepted, your lesson is booked!

How much do you charge?

£55 per hour. If you would like to prepay for 10 lessons in advance then you will receive a 10% discount.
